A high school with 1800 students, over 100 teachers, not to mention custodial staff, paraprofessionals and cafeteria staff, is a very busy place.

The Principal of Operations position here at University High School is charged with many tasks, including:

  • T-TESS Appraisals
  • Campus Decision Making Committee (CDMC)
  • Campus Improvement Plan (CIP)
  • Campus Crisis Plan
  • Crisis Response Team
  • Security
  • Emergency Drills
  • Substitutes
  • Time Card Approval
  • Custodial
  • Bell Schedules and Bells
  • Marquee
  • Social Media (Like our Facebook page!)
  • School Messenger (automated calls home)
  • Teacher Duty/Administrator Duty Schedules
  • Building Usage/Scheduling~
  • Buses
  • Cafeteria Coordinator (with Cafeteria Manager)
  • Coordinate with Maintenance

I also support the principal and assistant principals by coordinating and providing data.

All in all, operations makes for a busy day with many interactions over a variety of issues. 

Many times, I am the first administrator you will speak to when you call the campus.  If I can not answer your question, we will work to find an answer for you. Customer service is a big part of our jobs here at University High School. Every day, we look forward to serving our students and families.
